Marc Sway Profile

Marc Sway or my real name Marco Schäfer which some of you might know is living near Munich Germany, but grown up near Frankfurt, right same area as CK.

In the early 90's I started to listen and love music like Jam & Spoon and all kind of artist of this genre. Later my passion was followed up by trance music, I have been a lot of events, clubs and discos all over the country, my heros at that time are Paul Oakefold, Taucher, Talla 2XLC and many more. DJing I thought is that what I want to do, but there was a problem like all of you maybe know. Djing is a really expencive passion, so I couldn't start with it but didn't lost the love of doing this.
I think at 2005 it became serious. I spend all my money to my first Mixer and 2 CD Decks and could use a place from a fitness studio which a friend of my owned to practice DJing.
My music genre changed from Trance to prgressive techno and techhouse at this time, cause it was just "the sound of Frankfurt" which inspires me.
I recorded my first set at this time with a hardware CD recorder, the set was really crap mixed, but I still get and love it as an achievement. Fom this time on I practiced DJing every free minute.

After a break of Djing, cause of some reasons like the move to munich at the other direction were my life was going to, I'm now back with even more passion to the electronical music.

My studio in Munich is setup now to rock some shows.
